This week we have with the star of “In A World,” “A Serious Man,” and a ton of TV roles, Fred Melamed! We talk about His Career And The Reality of Voice Over Today.
Fred’s voice a familiar presence on television, serving as the sound of the Olympics, Mercedes Benz, CBS Sports, USA Network, the Super Bowl, He became known within the industry as a voice actor, appearing in the Grand Theft Auto series, and dubbing several actors' entire performances in films. But it was for his portrayal of "sensitive" villain Sy Ableman, in Joel and Ethan Coen's 2009 film, “A Serious Man.” Fred has also taken prominent roles in many Woody Allen films such as “Hannah and Her Sisters,” and Dan’s personal favorite, "Radio Days." You can also see him Larry David’s psychiatrist in “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” and most recently as Vision’s boss in Disney’s “Wanda Vision.”
We talk about the constant need to practice to maintain your acting craft, and how to apply those skills strictly to voice acting.

Debi Derryberry! Tells it like it is in Animation and VO in General
As one of Hollywood's most active voiceover artists, the amazingly talented Debi Derryberry is probably best known as the voice of Jimmy Neutron. However, she’s so much more! She’s currently performing a pile of voices for the hit Netflix show, "F is for Family,” and many other acclaimed animation series.
Debi also coaches up and coming voice actors on the skills techniques it takes to succeed in animation voicing, and produces demos that can give them a competitive edge and she talks about about what it takes to keep at the top of your game.

“Will” Lyman is an American voice-over artist, actor, and musician. Being known for his polished, resonant voice, Lyman has narrated the PBS series Frontline since its second season in 1984 and played William Tell in the action/adventure television series Crossbow. If you don’t watch PBS you’ll know him as the iconic voice of the Dos Equis “Most Interesting Man In The World” campaign. We talk about his career and the surprising things you learn about your idols if you just ask.
