If there’s one thing that “The Guys” at Voice Over Body Shop have shown over the more than 7 years of Producing their show, its that building a career for a voice actor takes persistence, patience and passion. That is what this weeks VO BS guest, Las Vegas based voice talent Melissa Moats is all about. She loves her work, and gets lost in it every day. She voices for television promos, documentaries, phone systems, video games, corporate training videos,.. the whole gamut. That includes promos for The Ellen Show, doing national tv commercials for Best Western Hotels, being the North American guide voice on the video game Wii Yoga, and narrating documentaries for super stars Justin Timberlake and Drake! She’s also heard heard regularly on Pandora Internet Radio.
Melissa really enjoys mentoring others who share the same dream of voice acting. Her and her husband, Troy, founded The Voice Actors Studio in Las Vegas in 2015 to train the next generation of hopeful voice talent. She’s also now the voice over instructor for UNLV! She believes in paying it forward and sharing everything that has served her well over the years.

Peter Bishop… or more often just “Bish”, is a native Londoner… born and bred under the flightpaths around Heathrow Airport. He came to the colonies in the late nineties while still playing the part of a corporate warrior for a large multi-national company. Deciding that he liked the US, but not the corporate life, he found his way to the world of VO.
Now a Resident on Long Island, Peter is known for his sharp wit, no-holds-barred, biting commentary on the state of our industry and is the new President of World-Voices Organization (WoVO) the international industry association of freelance voice talent.
